Paul's Mission: Children Belong in Families
For nearly 30 years, Paul Myhill has dedicated his career to understanding how essential nutrients and biological systems work. Through that work, he discovered something profound: restoration — real, sustainable restoration — requires addressing root causes, not just symptoms.
That philosophy extends beyond nutrition. In 2003, Paul co-founded World Orphans with a simple belief: Children belong in families.
The Problem He Discovered
Most children living in orphanages have one living parent. The crisis isn't always abandonment — it's poverty, lack of opportunity, and community breakdown. When families don't have resources or support, they separate.
His Solution
Instead of building orphanages, Paul pioneered the Home-Based Care model: equip local churches to come alongside vulnerable families, providing practical support, economic opportunity, and dignity. Keep the family together. Strengthen the community. Build sustainable change.

Kenya
A Grandmother's Strength
Martha is 75 years old, raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Kenya while suffering from severe arthritis. Every morning, she wakes in pain — but her love for her family moves her to tend her small garden, selling produce to feed those who depend on her. When Fountain of Hope Church recognized her need, they didn't take her grandchildren. They came alongside Martha. With World Orphans' support, the church provided food, healthcare access, and community. Martha's family stayed together. Her dignity was honored.

Haiti
From Orphan to Thriving Young Adult
Eldine lost both parents and was facing an uncertain future in Haiti. But the Home-Based Care program through Eglise de Dieu de la Bible Church stepped in. They paid her school fees, provided medical care, and sent food packages monthly.
