Sleep Is Part of the Protocol, Not Separate From It
It's the least glamorous lever in the whole system โ and one of the strongest.
Sleep doesn't get the same attention as shakes, capsules, or small meals, but it affects your results more than most people expect walking in.
Short sleep raises the hormone that drives hunger and lowers the one that signals fullness. Practically, that means a night of poor sleep leaves you waking up hungrier the next day, with more cravings and less natural appetite control โ working directly against everything the rest of the protocol is trying to support.
The target is seven to nine hours a night. That's not a Trilogiii-specific number โ it's the general range associated with healthy appetite regulation and metabolic function โ but it applies directly here. Protecting your sleep is one of the more effective things you can do to support the protocol, even though it doesn't involve a shake or a capsule.
If your sleep has been inconsistent, the evening cutoffs for food and water (see the earlier post on the three-hour rule) are a good place to start tightening things up. Sleep is part of the protocol, not something separate from it โ treat it with the same consistency you're bringing to your shakes.
